Belli takes the stage at The Pitch by Deel

Belli builds cargo software for the world's fastest airlines. This year that work took the team onto one of the biggest startup stages around, The Pitch by Deel.

What is Deel?

The Pitch by Deel is a global startup tournament built to find and fund the next generation of borderless founders. Deel put 15 million dollars behind it and ran in-person regional finals across Tel Aviv, Dubai, Singapore, New York, Paris, London and Berlin before a global finale.

Regional winners walk away with a 50,000 dollar SAFE investment, and the ten finalists who reach the global stage compete for a 1 million dollar grand prize.

On stage

Belli was among the startups chosen to pitch, and two people from the team carried the story to the judges in different editions of the competition. Co-founder and CEO Jeff Pan made the case for fixing air cargo, and Associate Product Engineer Asael Jalocha took the stage for the 2026 edition.

Jeff explains Belli's unique, always on-site, airline-specific approach to cargo software. He lays out the opportunity hiding in plain sight. Air cargo is only one percent of global trade by volume but 35 percent by value, and most flights still fly with around 85 percent of their cargo space empty. Belli replaces the legacy systems airlines run on so they can fill that space and grow revenue.

Asael takes the 2026 stage at The Pitch by Deel and shows how Belli is built for the day-to-day reality of cargo teams, replacing the manual, legacy workflows airlines still depend on.
